RICH, FUDGY, GLUTEN FREE BROWNIES THAT ARE HEALTHY TOO!
INGREDIENTS Recipe (Makes 9)
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1/3 cup of coconut oil
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup Bodyhero Rich Chocolate shake or powder mixed with water or plant milk
- 1/3 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
METHOD
Melt the coconut oil, then add all ingredients except for the chocolate chips to a food processor and blitz to a smooth batter.
Stir in 1/2 of the chocolate chips and save the other half for topping the brownies.
Line a baking tray with baking parchment, then pour the mixture into the tray and spread out to a 2cm thickness.
Sprinkle over the remaining chocolate chips, then bake at 190degC for 20-25 minutes until firm on top.
Leave to cool for at least 10 minutes before dividing into 9 equal portions then serve with a spoonful of dairy-free coconut yoghurt and dairy-free chocolate sauce.
